Need some scope help for my new AR...

Almost got together all of my stuff for my AR project.... just need to mount my scope. I have an RRA A3 flat top upper with a detachable rear sight. Can I get see thru scope mounts that are high enough so that I can still use my iron sights? Any advice would be great....

GT is right. He's talking about the old school farts like me who used to employ hunting scopes on our AR's for competition purposes (100 to 500m).

I was likely the last Black Rifle shooter to switch to more modern optics and bases like the ACOG. Most likely you will be shooting inside 200 or 300 yards so a combat optic like EOTech, Aimpoint Red dot, ELCAN, ACOG would serve your needs right out of the box.

Buy what works for your budget, your shooting game, and hopefully we'll see you out at local 3 gun matches, Service Rifle matches or what have you....
