Need some suggestions on how to clean live ammo!

Just as an alternative method for cleaning up 1 or 2 rounds if that is all you have to do, I like using Eagle One Nevr Dull magical wadding polish. Works like a charm, fast and easy, saves firing up the tumbler for 20 mind or whatever it takes.

I also clean my brass with this if I have a small batch to do. Just wipe the neck and shoulder down, brush out the neck and you are good to go!

"...feels rough to the touch..." Means the brass is pitted. Pull 'em and pitch 'em.
Polish is totally unnecessary. Brass needs to be clean, not shiney.
