I'm looking for someone who can possess and acquire short-barrelled prohibs, to act as an intermediary for an estate.

My father-in-law just passed away, and we *think* that his effects include a short-barreled handgun (not sure yet, heading there to take stock tomorrow). If so, my wife would like it. She's grandfathered for 12(6), but only has a POL, not a PAL. She'll need to take the test and upgrade.

In the meantime, I'm looking for someone who wouldn't mind accepting the transfer from the estate, and keeping it in the safe until my wife gets her PAL approved, and then transferring it to her.

Folks in the Montreal-Kingston corridor would be especially good. We can negotiate a safe rental fee. :)

The executor, at the time of the owners death, has the same licence as the owner and can hold the property for a "Reasonable" ammount of time. I think reasonable is about 25 years or so but since it is not specified, reasonable is however long your wife needs to upgrade or 25 years whichever comes first!!!
