Requirements:

LIGHTWEIGHT!
Suitable for 3 gunning
Durable (I'm not exactly gentle with guns)
Sub $175 (flexible on this)
Extremely sturdy

There are so many options out there that I am feeling somewhat overwhelmed. I'm not so much a fan on my standard T6 stock and looking for somewhat with an improved cheekweld.

Thanks for the help! Post pics of the recommendations if you can

If you aren't sure, default to the aftermarket standby: Magpul CTR. It fits MOST people the best. Some stocks might be better, but if you aren;t sure what you want, this is the stock to start with.

A possible alternative might be the Magpul STR, but getting one might take a while, as they have only recently been unveiled.

It is a little heavier, and looks to have a better cheekweld with the storage compartments, but I have not handled one yet.

I can give you a better idea after I have handled one at SHOT in a couple of weeks.

Regards.

Although not as light as the CTR,I would recomend either the ACE Socom or UBR. The Ace in non-colapsable version is in the price range.Colapsable is $250.ish, UBR add a $100.

IMO the CTR has never been that solid and somewhat loose feeling. They are NOT known for being solid.A bit of a POS

I don't think there are many other options that are solid other than fixed in your suggested budget. If it was me I would wait and save for one of these, you won't regret it.

I'm 6' 3" 210lbs and found the Socom to be a bit small unless wearing my vest. The UBR is #1 IMO solid, nice cheekweld and slightly heavier than most(an advantage IMO)-and yes I have carried it all day for many days in a row, balances my rifle out nice.

Sopmod is pretty sweet and super sturdy. I find you do have to be a bit more selective with your charge handle selection though as some don't seem to clear the foam as well as others.

This is the one I went with.

There are cheek risers that can be clipped to the top of the stock for differences in optics and mounting options as well.

I have an ACE skeleton and it's coming off. It's too light and the rifle becomes very muzzle heavy.

The CTR has less play than any other adjustable stock that I've ever tried.
