Need to find a rail for my savage 10 fcpk

I cant seem to find a nice rail for ma save 10 FCPK

Were can I find one ? Is there another savage model that will work also > ?

This is my first precision riffle so dont get to technical... whats the difference with a 0 moa and a 20 moa rail...

I will use this riffle for hunting this year as well

Try Allens Gun works or go direct to EGW in the states.

A 20 MOA rail tilts downward in the front that much. It's used for lomg didtance shooting as many scopes don't have enough internal adjustment and some say it is better to not work at the the extremes of the adjustment range.

How far do you target shoot and or hunt?
 
I had one of these rifles a while ago and I used an EGW rail with MOA cant. I got it ( it wasn't expensive) from Allen Gunworks ( site sponsor ). In brief, a 20 MOA cant gives you the ability to reach out further and resolves the limitation of some scopes that have limited amounts of built in adjustment. Given the choice of 0 or 20 MOA, I would always recommend the latter.

thanks for the help... I do like to target shoot... But for hunting its 100y to 200y max I will shoot...
 
The only concern with a 20 MOA rail is that you can have problems with a 100 yard zero. Not likely but possible. Only way to know is to try. I'd say get the 20 MOA rail.

If you order direct from EGW, make sure specify which model of Savage you have. Apparently the pre-accutrigger has a different profile in the reciever. I made that mistake ordering one for a buddy.
 
I have the same rifle in .308. I put on an EGW 20MOA rail and it works great. I think I bought it from frontier firearms. By the way, this rifle shoots amazingly!! Everything i have loaded for it is under .75moa...and mostly in the .5 range with some lower and some higer than that. Have fun!!
 
Should have no problem at 100 yards. I have a 20 MOA rail on my Savage Model 10, .223
no issues. EGW is good, Warne is also, really makes no difference as long as it's a quality producer. Grech Outdoors carries Warne and he's a Savage guy, should have inventory to fit the model 10.
