Need to improve feeding in my Rem 700

I was hoping for a bit of advice or a source for a magwell/DBM for my Rem 700.

The rifle is a heavy barrel SPS ( 223) and I have it sitting in a Magpul hunter stock. The current bottom metal is the original hinged floor plate. I have a minor issue in that if I put a few rounds into the box and they are not put in just perfect they will jam up when I feed the next round. I was thinking to switch it to a DBM.

I see magpul has some set ups but I am having a devil of a time finding one with a 223 capable mag.

1) Does anyone know of a Canadian source or possible another similarly priced product ?
or
2) Can I do something with the current set up to smarten up the feeding ?

Make sure the mag box is installed correctly, it needs to fit inside the bottom metal. Sometimes an aftermarket stock needs to be adjusted to allow the bottom metal to move upwards for correct fit.

If a spacer is required in the mag box make sure it is present.
 
Apparently the 308 magwell will take the 223 magazines but they need to be purchased separately from the kit. From their site

I understand that this magazine well is compatible only with the Hunter 700 SA stock, but will this magazine work with 223 cartridges?​

    The MAG497 is supplied with a 7.62x51mm magazine. For .223/5.56mm you will need to purchase the MAG1100 magazine.
I fitted a Magpul DB to my 280 Rem with a Wildcat stock since my arthritic thumb didn't enjoy feeding rounds into the magazine. It took a little fiddling but since it is a single stack magazine the feeding is very smooth. The Magpul DB system should fit right in you stock with no problems.

Stone the underside edge of the feed lips. Make sure the mag spring is not not backwards, replace if weak.

A better description of the failure may help in diagnosis.
