Need to make my LAR15 mag take 10 rounds again.

I read in another thread somewhere that you need to modify the follower to allow the use of 10 rounds instead of 9 when you install ranger plates. Does anyone one know or remember that thread? It's a 10 rounder and damnit and I want to be able to use it in full capacity. Thanks in advance.

Mine have the ranger floor plates and hold 10 just fine. I never modded anything.

Do I need to file the follower down a little? It will hold 10 very tightly, then it won't chamber. Just need advise before I start hacking.

I used a 1" stationary belt sander and just nibbled away at the legs on the bottom of the follower until I could seat 10 rounds plus a bit extra to allow seating when the bolt was closed. IIRC it amounted to about 1/8 inch.
