I'm looking at buying an STI Trojan in 9mm and a couple of things I'd like to add are a Fibre Optic front sight and a magwell. Is the trigger plastic and if so should I replace it or get over it? Other recommendations would be appeciated.
Thanks,
Mike

The trigger is made of carbon fiber.I did not like it at first but now i do.
If your not set on the trojan you should look at the Ranger II.Basically the same gun but has differant sights and its shorter.

I have .45 Trojan and 9mm on the way. Fit and finish is great. I did not like to trigger and plastic MSH so I'm replacing it with Ed Brown MSH and Greider precision trigger.

I'm sure my 9mm will get the same treatment:)

Buy with confidence.

I have the Trojan in 40, with the Dawson FO front.

I replace the carbon fibre MSH with the STI metal MSH and magwell. Good to go.
Good input, so will I. Different gun manufacturers definitely don't tell you about the plastic bits so it's great to have these forums. I was going to get the magwell anyway so that works for me. Are you also ok like pc9 with the carbon fibre trigger? Also, I have a nice Kimber .45 and that's why I thought about the 9mm rather than a .40 but I'm still on the fence. Any thoughts from anyone on that?

It's not an issue with me. It feels good, and changing to another make of trigger may bugger up the 3.5# factory trigger job.
