Need update of weather effect on gophers in Sth AB

I'm in Calgary next week on a conference, and thought I head a little south to shoot some gophers.

I've been watching the weather closely, and the spring was good and early, but lately snow and rain and windy.

Might not be worth the trip.

Has this delayed the babies coming out?

Any idea where the 'season' is compared to last year this time, when I had a great time after the conference. Beautiful weather and lots of targets.

There may not be as many out as if the weather was warmer, but they'll still be out. Might as well bring your rifle and enjoy yourself!

Next week might be good. Weather is to improve and they'll be keen to get out!
