Need used Gold Cup price feedback

Local gun shop has a Colt Gold cup series 80 early 1980's vintage. Looks to be close to mint condition with only minor cosmetic wear. Comes with 6 Colt magazines in LN condition and a De Santis holster and mag holders. They want $1300 for the gun and accesories.... This seems to be on the high side to me.

Need feedback on this price as I'm out of touch on handgun prices in the used market

Roger at shooters choice alberta was selling them for just over $1500 before taxes for a new one. Now that only came with two mags. I think on the low side $100.00 and top dollar $1200.00.

The gun shop has the advantage of maybe dealing with people who do not go on the internet, and also they might have the price a little high so they could give a fellow a good price for trade in if they had to.

I sold the same gun with 5 mags just a month ago and received $1150.00 so there price is not a long way out. Mine was not new in the box but rather just very good.

If you want the gun make them an offer, they can only say no. If they are way over priced then it will be there for some time to come.

Thanks for all the feedback. There are only two gun shops in Victoria and this one is known for their high prices. I'll let it sit there for a few weeks and go back and see if their willing to haggle a bit.
