This winchester is really nice. I will be selling it. Can anyone help me with the value? Pics speak 1000 words. Bore is nice mag tube looks like has been shortened. Serial 2323XX

Too bad it is chopped. Would have been a nice collector Winchester being a takedown and all. Barrel has been cut as well, the magazine hanger notch should be over three inches back from the muzzle. Is it a .32 special or does it just have the .32 WS sight? The tang sight is not original to the gun but is still worth a few dollars. If it were mine I would keep the rear sight and put the proper length bolts in the tang. The rifle would sell pretty easy at $750 if the bore is good. More if you don't mind waiting longer for a buyer. My 2 cents.

I think that $750 is optimistic, but I could be wrong. It is obviously a cut-up 94, that's been dressed up, nothing exceptional but the take-down. It has zero collector value, and might or might not make a good shooter. In my (limited|) experience, cut-down rifles tend to not be great shooters. My (once again, limited) experience has been that it is pretty tough to get a lot of money out of a model 94.
As always, YMMV.

Factory built Winchester rifles had a magazine hanger that always measures 3 3/4 inches from the muzzle to the hanger pin in the center of the hanger. The filled in notch for the hanger on your rifle is much closer to the muzzle than that. So the barrel was cut at some time. The front sight notch as built at the factory is always around .900 in. to the center of the sight dovetail from the muzzle. Also rifle barrels(not carbines) were always flat and unblued on the end. Still a nice old gun but it has been reworked at some time.
