Need Verification on WWI Flare gun

Can anyone tell me if this is in fact a WWI German Flare gun? and what kind of value it would have?

I believe that's a Hebel (German, WWI), and in pretty rough condition. $100 or so?

Ya, It has seen better days. I was just going to clean the rust off and hang it all the wall. I just dont want to do anything to ruin it. Thanks for the feedback.

I would say 60-80 in price because flare guns are nomraly cheap...
