I have a Webley Mark 3 Service (Break Top Revolver used around the time of the Boer War) with a Seriel in the low 2500's. Can anyone tell me what year this was made? I am hoping to change the classification to antique.

It was produced in 1894. The production years for those guns were 1894-97. Since the regulations are for 1898 and prior, either way youve covered your bases.

Cheers,
Chase.

Thanks Chase I will run with that.

Sorry guys, those are the dates for the MK II production. I believe MK III production started in October of '97 so, only the frames manufactured before the end of that year are antique eligible. 2500 is a pretty low number so it might qualify. CGN member Dingus may be able to tell you what the cut off # is.
