I would like to ask you the members here for your thoughts and help.
I have a few semi auto rifles, I know some are cheap, Moss 715T and a CQA 223. I was thinking of adding scopes to them for fun target shooting at the range, not for hunting.
I have been going to gun shows and I see a few dealers with quite a few used scopes in piles for sale.
My questions are:
1) How do you check to see if they are Good/working? Besides cracked housings and lenses?
2) What size would you have for a 223 rifle that mounts on the carry handle and the Moss 715T same carry handle mount?
3) I don`t want some Oversize LONG scope, something that looks like it would belong on that rifle.
What does one look for in a used scope?
Any pictures of what your talking about would also help me to understand better.
Basically I have NO Working Scope Experience OR Knowledge of Good /Bad / Cheap Quality-stay away from Scopes.
Educate me please.
