I have a SIG 226 in 40 S&W. I hope to use it for IPSC, production class.

The current factory sights are causing me to be 5 - 8 inches low. I have checked into it and need to get some replacements.

SIG won't ship to Canada.

Brownells won't ship sights to Canada.

Questar does not know if they can get them.

EPPs want 6-8 weeks to get only the front sight.

I need a # 8 front and #10 rear sight. These are the night sights marked MH3-AK and MH3-AL respectively.

Does anyone know where in Canada I can get replacement sights that will allow me to stay in production class in IPSC and still be able to hit my target?

Thanks for any input.

Unforunately can't help ya about finding the sights. However, you said you've "checked in to it", just wondering where and what info you found about shooting low with the factory sights? A buddy of mine is having the exact same issue and contemplating filing the front sight down a thou or two to bring it on target.

Are you sure? Sigs are sighted in at 25m using sight picture 3 below. Works for me anyway!

I usually use image 2 on most guns. It is off by 6 inches. # 3 is off by 4 inches. And that is from a rest so I am pretty sure I have it correctly. And thanks for the images I hadn't seen them before.

Contact Vault Distribution, one distributor of Sig Sauer products in Canada. I needed a tiny part for my RFB and they got back to me in a matter of hours regarding the part.

Yah, call Vault and ask for Gary or email gary (at) vaultdistribution.net . Very helpful guy; pleasure to talk to.

Don't bother calling Questar; they fed me a line of BS about how Sig wouldn't ship parts up here.

Just a follow up. I emailed Vault because the screw backed off on one of my bolt release tabs and it fell off. They sent me two new ones with screws and a bottle of loctite, only took two weeks from first contact until I received the parts.

Great customer service in my opinion
