Hello

I am new to shotguns and I found something that looks like what I have been looking for BUT I never heard of this one and would like to know if it is a Good / reliable brand and are parts available?

It is a Seraphim Armoury TR1 pump action 12 gauge

Look forward to your replies.

Thanks
George

Never heard of Seraphim, and besides they're made in Turkey. Don't get me wrong, Turkey produces *some* decent shotguns, but most of them are somewhere between meh and total trash.

If I were you I'd look at something like the Mossberg 500 or Winchester SXP, proven designs from established companies. The SXP is actually built in Turkey, but its not a bad little gun, especially for the price.

Like the others have said can't go wrong with an 870 or the 500. both would be good choices, mods, readily available parts with lots of configurations to choose from. My 2 cents. Cheers, Steamy

Like mentioned above, some good, some not. Do your homework and try to find some reviews on them. Ive never heard of that brand before now.

I have a buddy that bought the 300$ tactical pump at Cabelas, it was some Turkish made POS. I can't remember the brand, point is, that it fell apart in his hands the first trip to the sand pit.

Sometimes the cheapest price is not the best deal.

sold it on EE as low round count like new I bet LOL

Your first shotgun should be either a Mossberg 500/590 or a Remington 870.

You can get some Turkish novelty gun someday down the road. But not for your first shotgun.

This! All copies from Turkey and China are basically clones ( good, meh, or bad) of a 500/590 and 870. You might as well spend a few bucks more and get the original! My 500 is 30 yrs old and still functions like new.

Your decision should be whether you prefer a cross bolt safety a la 870 or a receiver top mounted one a la 500/590. And go from there.

No. Buy used American or Italian. Stick to products used by GOV agencies. They've gone through the headaches. As mentioned, but used. Price difference will be $50 and 1000% less cursing.
