Hello everyone
I'm doing a barrel liner on a Remington model 25 and it's going well but I have ran into another issue that I could use assistance with.
The take down bolt that goes through the receiver and screws into the other side of the receiver is the issue.
The threads on the bolt itself are terrible but I have a fix for that , the larger issue is where it threads into the threads there are roached .
I can see that it is actually a insert bushing that the bolt threads into but what I don't know is how it is held into the receiver.
I see in a parts drawing it's listed as "receiver bushing threaded"
I'm pretty sure the reference to "threaded" is the fact it's internally threaded to accept the bolt.
So my question is does anyone know if it is interference press fit ? Or silver soldered ? Threaded ...........or ?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated !
Thanks
