NEF or H&R single shot heavy barrel any good?

Anyone know (preferably from experience) how the NEF and/or H&R single shot rifles in .223 with the heavy target barrels do for accuracy? If that answer is "superb" (which I would hope so, given their marketing literature), my second question is, is there any reason to prefer one brand over the other for this class of firearm?

I got a NEF handi in 223 late last year and am still working on it but I threw a cheap old scope I had laying around on it and my buddy's dad was shooting 1'' groups at at 100 yds. while we were sighting it in with crummy old reloads. I'm ordering a new scope, and a Choate varmit stock and sighting it in with Winchester 45gr. jhp varmit rounds and have very high expectations for the gun when finished. Gonna have to put a couple hundred rounds down range before I can truely say its a great rifle, but am very happy so far. If it performs as well as I'm told it should, gonna order same rifle in 308 for deer next season.
 
I've always had my eye on those rifles. As it stands now though I don't know anyone that has one. It would be great to hear some first hand info.

i'm looking into same info too.what is the rifling twist on those varminters?
what are the diffrencess NEF and H&R models?
