Anybody have any opinion on thumbhole stocks on a non-tactical shotgun? The only one I've seen is the NEF Survivor....
The reason I ask is that I am thinking about buying a combination rifle/shotgun with no stock and building my own stock. It'd be a lot easier to build a bastardized skeleton thumbhole-style stock than a wooden one-piece, and it would possibly afford greater accuracy from the rifle barrel - but I don't want to render the shotgun barrel too useless.
