Neighbours first goose

I took out my neighbours son today for his first official goose hunt. We got lucky and managed to shoot down two birds.....one each....
Plus I got him to clean his first goose too

Over decoys, we setup after legal light and waited for the birds, they did not show up until well after 8am... We had a few flocks come in but our shooting skills/ability really sucked. The boys first time, so he was nervous, not sure what my excuse was (for missing) oh well, the boy had a good time and that's what counts....

Congrats, always nice getting newbies out. I help out with a youth hunt every year and the looks on their faces is priceless when you have a flock working in. The kids sit there and shake with eyes the size of saucers.
Don't worry about the shooting, happens to the best of us. Geese aren't hard to hit they're just easy to miss.
