Got the idea of getting a Nemesis 300WSM and and US optic 3.2X17X44 to pair up with my Nemesis 308, here the video of the rig, would not change a thing... JP.

that would make a great rig for caribou or wolf hunt up north
but with taxes, this package probably runs aroud 10k so I guess I will have to stick with what I have

I agree, not the best for a hunting rifle ( the price and the weight ) those rifle are for hitting tiny targets ( small groups and more small groups) very..very far aways... JP.

JP - is there a reason why you would "limit" yourself to that magnification (17x) if the intent is to push the limit of the 300WSM?

Wouldn't the ER-25 5-25x be a better candidate, (evenmore so) with it's much large objective?

Optics are details on this next puchase, i got my S&B 5X25X56 PL4 that i am replacing by a Sightron 10X50X60 LRTD for the purpose of my group in a dime, that could go on the 300 WSM but the word is that those US optics and ( i am repeating what i heard ), were even better than S&B, this size of scope i dont have 3X17X44 so i would be nice if i ever decided to swap it on a hunting rifle like my Scout Steyr 308... JP.

US optics are good but an S&B they aren't. USO has good optics and you can build a deck with one (hammering nails with it) but optically there is better out there. But I would also highest if your wanting to stretch, and your gonna spend the money, get more magnification.

Which model(s) were you able to compare (in person) between the USO and S&B? I'm not doubting your assessment, only asking for hands-on reviews of both glass (hopefully in the same magnification and objective size) to see if this is a fact across the whole offering from USO or just a particular model, either old or new.

I agree with C4pyro on the US Optics. I owned the exact scope you are looking at and have to say the S&B's are optically superior. As far as swapping this out time to time for use on a hunting rig... I think you would quickly change your mind once you actually handle one ( very heavy!)
While i don't think there is a more robustly built scope on the market, I do feel there are better options at this price point. You should also consider Steiner's new 5-25 Military or Kahles 6-24 Tactical.

I would like to duplicate the package in the video, it look just great and buying it as a package is advantageous, like i said i could decide to change my optic on it, it wont be a loss since could be available for other rifles... JP.
