Nemesis Vanquish

No no no .. :) here are the targets.. Took me a while to get out to the range considering the cold weather..

I couldn't come close to Caramel's groups yet, but I still have to practice more and start reloading..

Here are my best groups at 100m:

And these are the best I could do at 200m

Now remember, this was my second time ever with a bolt gun.. So be patient, I see a lot of potential with this gun, just need practice and need to start reloading, I'm sure once I work out a nice load for it I'll be able to shrink those groups quite a bit..

The ammo used in this test is Hornady Match 168 gr. All are 5 shot groups....

Nice shooting! If that is your first attempt it should get much better.

How is the recoil? looks like a pretty good brake.

Pretty good first outing... Congrats... On your first target you got a .5 MOA, when you are more familiar with the rifle and especially the Verspod there will be no reasons to spread bigger than ,5 MOA with factory ammo... When you work a nice tailored one, you will see your groups going toward the .25 MOA... When you are ready, i will suggest you a couple of proven loads... Cheers. JP.

nice post, thanks for sharing, like the others said great first groupings, more practice and time behind the gun you should see those shrink quite well, good job

lookin good, looks like you got off to a great start with that first group, what happned?!? haha :D

boy id like to get my hands on one of these things to play with, not my cup of tea to drop 5G on, but would be a fun day to play around with one

As it go along the shooter and the rifle just merge amazing together, i am happy for all of those who got one... JP.

If you are shooting how you show in the picture, there is NOTHING wrong with those groups. Nice shooting. If you want to see what the gun can do, and not what you can do, get a rear bag under that things, settle the gun right down and fire away. you will be pleased.

if you can get off that wobbly silverdale bench and into prone and get a rear rest bag as well, your groups will be much smaller

As per my findings, a monopod on the Nemesis is on par with sandbags for great shooting, configuration of this rifle really favor the use of a monopod, my best groups were achieved with that accessory... JP.
