I came across a deal on some long rifles that were basically inherited by a friend (who doesn't have a PAL or want rifles).
The thing is that they are pretty old and have never been registered, so I'm not sure how to go about this.
Can I just buy them and then register them with the RCMP?
Will they give me a hard time or is it a big hassle?
Will he (the seller) have to prove anything?
He has absolutely no paper work at all, they're essentially unknown of according to any Govt bureaucracy and were used for hunting only (perfectly clean). I know the guy well enough, they belonged to his grandfather.
I just don't want to get them if I'll get f*cked by our glorious, ever so thoughtful Canadian Govt, so any help is appreciated.
It's basically:
2 x 30-06 rifles
1 x 22lr rifle
1 x British 303 rifle
All lever or bolt action
Thanks.
