Anyone out there ever see a gun like this?
Guy at my gunclub brought it in, it’s in an estate. No markings except a TYR/E covered under the barrel.
Buddy says it’s a 30ish caliber, no ammo was at the residence.
I’ve never seen a hammer/firing pin set up like this.
Thanks for any help, Gun is in the Vancouver area.

This type of action is called "rolling block". Apparently there were many different designs of rolling blocks but its like 1870s technology level.

Def looks like Flobert action. They're otherwise known as "Garden guns" as they're designed for low velocity shot rounds.
Check the alignment of the firing pin to see if it hits on the rim or in the centre of the round. That should tell you what you have there.
Check out this page. There are some good pics of the action.

I’ll see if Bob will bring it to my trap club again on Sunday and we’ll look for proof marks.
He also has a Parker SxS for me to check out.
Thanks everyone for the replies. He will be selling it at some point and I’ll probably list it in the exchange.

If the set triggers work, and given the apparent decent quality of the rifle, it would be worth slugging the bore and doing a chamber cast to determine exactly what it's chambered in.
It might make a fun to shoot black-powder cartridge plinker
