New 10/22 owner (Which folding stock?)

Hey all i just recently bought a stainless steel with synthetic stock
Ruger 10/22, and was wonder what folding stock i should go with. The Butler Creek seems to be pretty good quality, but what about the Ramline one? Any bad things about these or are there others to look for? Also what bipods are you guys putting on these? I really would like to keep the weight down on this rifle so would a folding stock be much heavier?
 
Butler Creek.
There's not much difference in weight between a folder and a synthetic. The folder is heavier than say a Hogue OM.

Harris Bi-pods work fine.
 
If possible, try one before buying for your own 10/22. The Hogue and Butler Creek are both poor fits for my tastes. They don't feel right. Personal taste, what can I tell you.

I tried a folder on mine(butler creek) and it was not what I would call a quality lockup. The stock was loose even in the open position. The wire tube design was less than comfortable for shooting(especially in winter). I even exchanged mine for a different one thinking I got a lemon... I got exactly the same results from number 2 as well. Now I run the Butler creek Target stock with a more pronounced pistol grip and a trapezoid foreend. The stock works wonders, been on my gun for the last 5 years. As for bipod, I have a Harris BRS that's the 6-9 inch BenchRest with Swivel. It is a little heavy for what it is, but it works like a champ!

As for bi-pod, you can go with Harris or if you want to save a couple bucks you can get a Shooter's Ridge (harri's clone). both are fine.
