im also wondering what the best target rounds are that i can by in big nunches currently using the walmart bought winchester 555 bulk packs these are cycling prety good but there prety junky wondering on a upgrade without breaking the bank

1) be sure the scope mnt in secure. Blue loke-tite is choice
2)cci ammo is good food

This is all after ensuring your scope is not crap or damaged.

if it's new it shouldn't have a hump yet. I found that some scope run out of adjustment and you can't get the crosshairs to line up properly ... shimming will help or try a different set of rings. With my SR, the scope rail sits about 1" higher than the receiver and with med to high rings I wasn't able to get on target properly. With a regular 10/22, you may need a lower set of rings ... it may help.

fixed the problem i readjusted the scope in mounts. With the help of a friend with a bore sighter and a few adjustsments at the range im now shootin bullseys thanks for the hints all
