Hello everyone. I've been reloading pistol ammo for the last 26 years and just now getting into reloading shotgun ammunition for trap/skeet. I'm admittedly a green horn! I bought the presses, mounted them to my bench and am ready to go... almost! Im having a very difficult time finding shot and powder! Is there a place I can purchase these components in bulk? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
 
locally i dont know, online you can check out Higginston Powder (might be a typo).

i warn you; reloading small shot isnt worth it, it the same price as bulk at walmart.
buckshot and slug, now youre talking.
 
Ditto, their is no money to be saved in loading 12 gauge target loads. On that note, however, some of is still do it for the enjoyment of reloading and breaking targets or dropping birds with loads tailored to our specific shotguns.
 
Thank you for all the great info that came from this post. Our whole family enjoys trap/skeet shooting and reloading will be yet another activity we can enjoy together. =)
 
I agree. I reload and light 1Oz target load for shooting clay, I know I spend mre doing it this way, but I enjoy reloading as much as shooting clay targets. Now if I could only find supplies easier I'd be all set.
