The new 1301 Handguard Assembly pulls out all the stops for increasing performance.
The new rear adapter is a one piece design, milled from 6061 aluminum and Type III black hard coat anodized. This new design is not only lighter and stronger, but most importantly it opens up the entire rear M-LOK slot. This allows for the proper mounting of M-LOK accessories such as Match Savers and/ or sling mounts.
The new front adapter takes the Zhukov to the next level. It fully contours the Zhukov top to bottom, and supports it inside and outside. This eliminates flex in the handguard and adds durability. The integral slots allow a more durable light mounting solution while placing the light further forward, helping to cut town on barrel shadow. The new front adapter takes advantage Nylon 12’s properties along with Multi Jet Fusion additive manufacturing to achieve incredibly difficult geometries and features without sacrificing strength.
The optional laser engraved texture combines form and function unseen on the 1301. The patent pending texture matches that of our other products while adding much needed grip for handling and recoil management.

GG&G manufactures 33 American Made Tactical Accessories for this venerable shotgun. Per your requests; Add One More! The New GG&G Beretta 1301 Heat Shield. It is a full length, one-piece heat shield designed to easily mate with your 1301 when outfitted with a GG&G Zhukov Handguard. Yep, it does not mount up unless you have the GG&G Zhukov Handguard installed.
Important Point: If you have the GG&G Zhukov Handguard installed, you do not have to remove it, or the barrel to install the GG&G Beretta 1301 Heat Shield. The Beretta Heat Shield provides significant heat dissipation created during high round count shooting, whether for sport or training. Although the GG&G Heat Shield is vented, there are no vent holes at the critical "extended grip" location so as to prevent discomfort from the barrel heat or worse yet, burnt fingers.
The GG&G Heat Shield extends all the way back to the receiver. This accommodates the shooters that like to roll the shotgun over, place the rear stock up on a shoulder for support, and reload in this position. If the shield was shorter, the heat from the barrel on the off-hand would be an issue, and it would interfere with the ability to quickly and with a strong grip in a stable position, reload effectively. Although vented in this area, the vent openings are kept low enough as to not interfere with reloading from the position mentioned above.
