Great little calibre!! Ive got several 17HM2 with my latest a Volquartsen custom ordered ….with the classic laminated stock, Stainless steel action and match barrel ordered from Sylversters Sports. About a 10 month wait and it was worth it !! Order a case of ammo for it, maybe 2-3 …. lol

Great find, I love the M2!!! I bought my first HM2 about 10 years ago, it's a Mossberg 8 something, I can't remember. Then shortly after, I talked one of the mods on RFC out of a 452 Varmint, and a local friend out of a 452 American. I bought a Lilja 17M2 .920 barrel for a 455, and also picked up a barrel for a 10/22. It's got the heavy handle, but I still get the bulging. I don't play with that one, and have thought of receiver swapping it to a Summit, Mr. Bill, how do you like the Summit action?

I loved the idea of the 17M2 but ammo availability would seem to be the biggest issue. Not sure I've ever seen it in a store.
