I got some Warren Tactical F/O sights on the way from Irunguns for my Ruger SR1911. Is a lazor bore sight needed to align the new sights on installation or should I just center them test at the range?
I use an adjustable square before removing the old sight, then install the new sight to that placement. If adjustment is needed, it is very minor, provided the original sights were aligned for POI/POA.
