Well, I am sure most of you read my other thread, nuff said.

The original pic looked good but she needed some TLC

After the stock fix, it looks worse in this pic than it actually is. I am happy with how it turned out. In most light conditions you can hardly tell it was ever there. It follows the grain of the wood and if this wasnt a close up you would never see it.

Gun got completely stripped, cleaned and put back together. Just need a few small parts and she will be done.

The Marlin bullseye was drilled out and a stud was added in its place. I made a home made replacement. I was quite happy with how it turned out as well.

Is it because of the curved reciever tang that it split like that?

I think it is because there was too much pressure from the tang on the wood. It was very tight getting it off. I relieved the pressure as best I could and I think it should be ok now.
 
I need a front barrel band, some action screws and an ejector. The ejector I am sure is the same as all the rest so that is not a problem.

I will be looking more into these later this week. Cant be that hard to find i wouldn't think......
