Hello, I am the proud owner of one of the new 44 mags. I truly love the balance and feel of the big revolver but don't like the grips. I know nothing of which Hogue Grips to get and have called around to a few stores and they don't seem to know. Some have said N frame and round grip and others have said different...Could someone please help?? Maybe even with the
SKU number from Hogue or Smith and Wesson....I am confused.

You need grips that fit a round butt N Frame. Many grip styles originally made for square butt frames can be had in conversion form if you prefer that type of grip.

Grips can be ordered directly from Hogue through their website. You can also try Brownells or Herrett's. The latter is custom made based on a tracing of your hand.

I don't know your gun in paticular but I have bought Hague or Pachymr grips for a lot of my guns and am happy with them. I have bought most of them at amazon dot ca(com)

Houge wanted $25 just for shipping. I ordered the exact same ones on brownells for $5 shipping. Should be here this week.

BTW- I agree on the stock grips, S&W should be ashamed of these things.

I bought a set of Hogue grips last summer for my Redhawk and they didn't charge me anything for shipping. The order was over $100, so maybe they have a free shipping limit? I also phoned the order in instead of using their website, maybe that was different?
