Ran a search and didn't seem to find any posts. Who's excited for a well built AICS mag (presumably) under $40?!?!

There are posts about it in the SHOT SHOW 2015 forum. Nothing impressive about this mag, to be honest. It's a 5 round mag that can be increased to 6 rounds by snapping off a piece on the follower. The max COAL is shorter than available steel mags.

A 10 or 15 round 223 PMAG would have been exciting. This... not so much... It provides nothing over the new MDT polymer mags that are 10 rounds and under $40.

Sadly I agree

I'll probably pick up a couple to try out. What's the max OAL you can use? I tried looking it up but came up empty. Too soon probably as it's shipping sometime in summer. Hopefully there will be a 10rnd mag later down the road.

I don't recall exactly, but its something like 0.100" shorter than a steel mag with the front plate removed (i.e. Accurate Mag mags)

Ah, that's why I couldn't find any posts in here about them. Still though, I didn't know about the MDT - thanks! Are they as reliable as Pmags usually are? Wow...and they're in stock too.

Well then, it appears we'll have a couple options for less expensive mags. I like the size of the 5 for carrying and transport however.

Ill wait until they release a 10 rounder. So far I havent seen any difference between Accurate Mag and my AICS mags. they both feed 100% reliably
