Thats a pretty narrow minded statement. Do you have a beef with AI. Steven 200(US), Kreiger Barrels(US), True-Flite Custom Barrels( NZ). This is the Canadian Precision Rifle Forum after all, just wondering.

I have shot the AX and it is very nice. Balances well and recoil is nice and straight.

x2 Yeah I'm kinda perplex by Ian's statement as well. Bad day maybe?

Don't know if it is a serious statement or not (probably just in jest ). Because i'm in that Stevens 200 camp and as a greenhorn F-class shooter with a small budget I don't know if I should hide in shame or plan on bring a paper bag out to cover my rifle at the next F-class shoot. Just saying the statement could be taken the wrong way.

This was no swipe at anyone. It is a parody of the fact that this forum is not about precision so much as it is a perpetual irrelevant Savage vs. Remington debate.

It is nice to see a rifle being offered with a true match grade barrel and assembled by a true precision gun builder. I shudder at the retail costs and availability.
