sorry if the title is misleading, a new AK on the way for me

im picking up a Saiga AK in 7.62x51
its a shorty.. short barrel.. crappy draganov style styock ( ill have to shift trigger forward n all that ) .. but my main drama.. is what scheme to cammo the thing in !!!

help me CGNz gimme your suggestions.. post pics .. go wild, as long as i come away with some ideas

yeah the stock can be removed.. we cannot have freestanding pistol grips on regular A-catagory license.. hence the draganov style stock

i can get wood gear for it. the good things about the black plastic knickers is that they can be camo'd on very easy

i like the look of the shorty , main reason im getting it . they dont come in .223 or russian.. so .308 it is

back to the short barrell. not too concerned about the long range accuracy of that thing, dont tend to take many shots over 200m if hunting anyways.. if i wanted accuracy in a Kalashnikov package i would get a Tigr ( Dragunov )
in .308 or 54R ... hmm .. maybe i will next

Should I remind you that the sporter 'hunter' configuration can be changed to military look with gunsmithing and new trigger parts? It's been done before in the US quite often.

we had a pretty bad shooting a few years back.. fellow used an AK.. so they decided .. well the ak has a free standing pistol grip.. BAN THEM !

I would go with any past or present German camouflage scheme. Splinter, Tan and Water, Dot44, etc. Or of course you could go with any of the awesome northern European styles like Danish or Swedish, yummy!
