Ive got a CMMG .22 conversion and I was sick of the ugly magazine. So I set out to create a "pmag inspired" magazine that im dubbing the "RF MAG" (Rim Fire). Ive emailed CMMG to see if they are interested in acquiring the design. If not, I may set out to produce it myself, or atleast the shells (which can then use the CMMG spring and follower). The mag also finally allows the use of a pmag ranger plate with your .22 conversion. After all, training is better when everything is the same - including the ranger plates. The final product, when its created, will be black in color.
.
Anyway, heres a mockup video. Im in the process of getting a prototype made..

Next I'd love to get ahold of one of their 9mm AR's and design a similarly styled mag for 9mm that could use a normal AR lower instead of their 9mm lower. A normal looking AR that shoots cheap 9mm.....now that would be nice.

?????.....you can use any AR lower for 9mm.

They have a the 2nd Gen mags which are more similar to that... and can be configured all kinds of ways... Including 10 rounds in a 30 round body.

Sorry, I didn't clarify that very well. I meant normal as in not needing a magwell adapter. I've seen their newer mags, but they are quite ugly in my opinion
