Hey guys,
So I've haven't even owned my first AR for a year and now I have the itch to build one.
I will be looking at a stripped lower with a LPK first, seems that the ones most commonly available are RRA, Stag and Armalite. Any suggestions on which to buy. I am looking to put together a rifle with a matching upper at some point, from the same brand as the lower, so I would like to know the availablity of uppers for the lowers I had mentioned. Probably looking to build a 16".
I am sold on the MagPul CTR and MIAD grip, so that will be going on my build, can someone tell me if the buffer tubes on RRA, Stag or Armalites are mil-spec or commercial?
This will be my first build, I want it to go smooth, help with parts selection and what you guys feel the guality level is.
My only AR is a Sabre Defence, I realize the next build will not be close to this beauty!
Other than AR-15. com, is there some more valuable sources of info I will need/
