Seem nice but I would be very surprised to see those kind of prices up here, assuming we could get them to make 5 rounders.

hmm nice...could you imagine getting the window option..and it was permenately empty? I like Magpul stuff. I want their new UBR stock.

I don't know about you guys, but if they are RELIABLE and not prone to breakage, I think they would be the cats ass.

If they are less than 100% reliable, you might as well stick to conventional aluminum AR mags.

Although for me... if they are as cheap as listed... I'd accept less than 100% reliability. My fire is outbound only.

Those window, would they show the 5 rounds we'll have, or from the bottom? Cause if it's from the bottom, then it wouldn't do us any good, huh?
But it sure looks snazzy, with them colors and all. I would take few.

On the announcement on arf.com they said they are not so much for high volume shooting. Memories of stomping on broken CF themolds makes me VERY leery of polymer mags (in particular, polymer feed lips).

those are very nice, Its a shame they dont have those ranger plates like ert said.
Bigger shame the only thing we will see in that window is the spring.

They are the same price as metal mags in the states so figure they will cost about the same (+ "tactical" premium) and you got 60$ mags...

Rich has recommended that these mags be used for range use only...

*not that it ever occured to me to do differently - I have the same vision of sugar plums that DangerTree does...

I too have bad memories of the first few Generations of CF mags...... But the last ones before they were phased out were quite good....

Cant hurt to try..... Where can I get me a couple to torture test :D

I'm perfectly happy with stainless magazines. Once the C-Products will release their straight 20 round mags I'll be even happier.

Makes you wonder what next accessory will be developed by Magpul?

For years people have been #####ing about how crappy and unreliable thermold mags are.

Magpul makes one and everyone thinks that it's the cat's ass. Why? Because it says magpul?

I wish people would stop the ooh's and ahh's just because something is the latest and greatest thing to hit the AR market. Myself, I think that I'll wait for others to part with their hard earned cash to do the T&E that Magpul should do before releasing their products.

Not bashing the product, but I'll wait for something to be proven and superior to what's available before I buy.
