New Ar quick Question

Hey guys, Just got home with my new Norinco Ar15. Love it but when I took out the takedown pin there was a little spring sticking out of the hole. It's kinked at one end. I"m not too sure where this is supposed to go back in. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

The spring supposed to stop the takedown pin from coming out completely.
