just seen this video We need to get a dealer on board to import this scope as Nikon Canada most likely won't.. This is cool :w:h: :ar15: "if this need to be moved to optics then do so mods"

looks absolutely awesome...imaging putting this onto a robinson arms xcr .223...coyotes and gophers should start running now...
 
It'll be a hassle, but they will probably sell it in Europe or Asia and then you can import it to Canada with paperwork. Getting that thing out of the USA through legal channels would be a nightmare, if it is even possible.
 
Why would it be a nightmare getting it out of the US? Do we not get other optics out of the States like eotechs, Trijicons, etc? This isn't a US mil optic, from what I looked at it's just a variable power optic intend for hunting/sport use with the AR. I'm not interested in this personally as I'd prefer an illuminated optic, but at the right price it might make a good choice for those not interested in spending larger amounts of money.

Hbean, did they say why they won't sell it in Canada?
 
Not sure why this is an improvement over my Falcon Menace 1.5-5 x 30 illuminated scope on my Robarms XCR. Available in Canada and about the same pricing. What am I missing here ?

They didn't go into details as to why, but like everybody else they probably think the Canadian rifle scope market is just not big enough, but who knows, if popularity of the M233 line takes off in the States we might see it up here some day.
