New assault rifle from those who build AK-47

I would rather have the 6P67 by the KMP, but both Kalasnikov concern and JSC are on the CDN sanction list. Whatever the classification it will be, the chance of seeing one in the near future is slim.

was anybody trying to import the aek or as it is now known as 6p67 it looks pretty slick? I take it is now impossible because JSC is the manufacturer and sanctioned.

Unless there's a revolution in gun law in Canada, I doubt we'll be seeing anything with the letters 'A' and 'K' together for some time. Not saying it makes sense. That 6P67 looks pretty sweet though. Reminded me of a Soviet MP5.

I take it from greentips post that JSC
makes the latest version of the AEK-971 rifle, known as A545 or 6P67. This version is undergoing Russian army "Ratnik" trials in 2014 against the AK 12.

to me AEK would be a interesting rifle for Canada since it isn't AK variant. I don't know how link pictures but the AEK 971 is pretty slick looking.

You have clearly NOT been paying attention to CDN firearms laws and what the RCMP considers to be a variant.

On numerous occasions, firearms that share not a single component part, operate in a completely different manner and have not a single thing in common with a named prohibit except the most basic cosmetic resemblance have been classified as a variant and prohibited.

The AK-12 is essentially a product improved AK and people are really asking/arguing that this thing might be allowed into the country? Give your collective heads a shake gentlemen.

This.
