New Barrel for 10/22 ???

So I've decided to start my new project and that is turning my lame Ruger 10/22 into a full blown gopher slayer. I've decided to go with the Bell & Carlson Stock (Model: Odyssey) I now need the barrel that will fit that stock any suggestions?

I've put a GM bull barrel on mine. Really accurate for the price.

I would suggest the Rimfire section aswell. There are gods of the 10/22 over there.

I am aware of the Rimfire Section, Like I said since I'm only interested in talking barrels, IE tactical solutions, green mountain, Fluted, non fluted etc. etc. I figured that the precision section was more appropriate, my apologies if I am still in the wrong place.....

Talking about a Rem 40X action (in any configuration) is NOT the "same kinda deal" as a 10/22.

Don't feel bad about posting your question here. 90% of the posts in the Prec. forum pertain to firearms that are not even close to being "precision" and since the guidelines as to what constitutes a precision firearm have not been written, yours is a question as valid as any other here. It seems If your rifle has - or is destined to have - a scope or a bipod, it's good enough for the Prec. forum.

FYI, I shot a 10/22 this past spring that had been re-barreled in 17 Mach 2. It was indeed a great little 100 yard gopher gun!

had exceptional luck with CCI Mini-Mags and my 20" SS Fluted GM bull barrel. <100yrds if it's a miss it's not the rifle.
