New barrel for savage 12

I've got a savage 12 bvss I'd like to re-barrel with something a bit nicer. It's in .223 and I'd like to keep it 1:8, 1:9. are there any in canada whom are threaded and ready to be fitted to a savage action, and where can I find them?

Similar to the 17MachIV being taken out of the "Wildcat" dimension and now with slight changes being standarized as the 17 Rem Fireball
 
it does list a 6br rem on their site, though it is in 14 twist

I was under the impression that the 6br norma and 6br rem were different in some way, my bad

I am planning on getting a barrel in 6BR but was looking at an 8 twist when I do

The two cases are different, albeit slightly, The BR Norma is spec'd for a case length of 1.550 and the Remington is spec'd for 1.500. The base dimension on the Norma is also slightly wider.

Dies are essentially interchangeable.

I would NOT want a rifle chambered for Remington to be used to shoot Norma.
