Since I had the full size battle rifle, and the collapsible stock carbine, I figured I needed the LE version to complete the collection.

I could only show the bottom halves to get a good pic.

It's amazing what is out there:D

The bottom one is now my main shooter/competition rifle, with the other 2 relagated to wall hanger status. It is also a bit different than the other 2.

I see that the selector goes to auto but I dont see an auto sear. What is the rail on the bottom stock it seem that it would leave a strange mark on your cheek.

It's all part of the Magpul system. Stick around here in Black and Green guns, and you'll learn all kinds of things:p :D .

and just where are you getting these C7 Lowers?

Is the bottom one that is not marked "Canadian Forces Canadiennes" an RCMP/OPP or the like weapon? That would explain the absence of an Auto sear anyways... and any outfit that is issuing Magpul tarted up C8A2s can't be all bad!
 
Wait a minute. It's not RCMP, all of therese are supposedly "R" prefixed serial numbers, this one is all numeric. This year's vintage, though!!
 
And yes, they are all privately owned,,,, by me:D :D

That's why the bottom one has all the goodies, KAC trigger, Magpul stock, one of the first originals that came to Canada, marked Experimental. Magpul offered to exchange these for the production stocks, but I'm keeping this one.

The other 2 are simply to represent the "as issued" rifle, and carbine of the Canadian section on my wall. The middle one has been my comp. gun for the last 2 years and has served me well, but now that this latest one has migrated to my house, it'll be the traveller and shooter.

I've had the top 2 pictured on the board before, but just wanted to show off the latest addition.:p
 
I am building a homebuild and want to make it a faux m16..... what are the legalities of drilling the auto sear hole ??

still looking for a laser engraver or someone to hand engrave my reciever for me.

I'll put the uppers on and get some additional pictures. May not get a chanse for a couple days for the pics. Workin. Then the show this weekend, so may not get them up till next week.
