New black shotgun

Well I traded my Savage 111FXCP .308 with bushnell Trophy 3-9x40 bone collector (unfired)


for this Hatsan escort 12guage and $130. Did I do good? I don't even know the model name for this shotgun or anything. I know its fun as hell to shoot.


Was shooting milk jugs filled with water with 3" slugs and #4 buck. Man was that ever fun!


Here she is (thats the savage I traded in the background.

Any thoughts on these guns? I don't see many threads about them on here.

I wouldn't have made that trade, but I already have a shotgun and want a hunting rifle... So I'm kinda biased.

The Hatsan you have is about $375 new, so plus the $130 would put you around $500.

If the rifle was worth less than $500 to you, then you "did good". If not...

I bought the 111fxcp on sale last christmas from WSS for $420, Scope came with a trail camera, so I had about $470 invested in it. I already have a Tikka .308 so that savage was surplus. If it was the accu-trigger version I would of kept it.

I'm liking this shotgun though! I'm glad I got it over the Grizz 12", even though its not as short.
