New Bloke on the Range Video. K31 & 96/11

Love at the 8 min mark or thereabouts when the house and cars come into view on the shooting range just off to the left. I like how the Swiss are very common sense about their firing ranges. I guess they dont need to worry about idiots as much on the range?

Speaking of which:

I had to go over to Switzerland back in 2001 on a Milling course. We did some traveling around visiting different Mills in a few cities. It was surprising to see the number of rifle ranges in that country and a great many (because of the narrow valleys) are exactly as in the picture above, with shooting benches on one side of the road and the targets on the other side with traffic flowing steadily while bullets whistle overhead. They think nothing of it. It is also a common sight to see people walking around and taking trains with full auto rifles as they head off to fulfill their mandatory military training. All men must serve 2 years (if my memory is right) of service in a branch of their military and then do 2 weeks a year of of training in the reserves until the age of 50. They keep there military weapons at home and shoot them regularly. It was very refreshing to see the Swiss's lack of concern over guns been carried openly and uncased in the middle of downtown. Any of the LiberalTards from North America visiting would no doubt have a seizure and be left quaking in fear for their lives....lol....I found it great and the people very friendly and helpful.
