I ordered a Volquartsen buffer. I thought I ordered an auto bolt release and asked for the price on the buffer. Anyway ended up receiving the buffer and finding three really great threads on the auto release on rimfire cen and ended up not needing a new auto release. Luckally I didn't find a 3" nylon bolt to replace the stock buffer.
Wow the Volquartsen buffer is quite!
Why would ruger sell the 10/22 without a auto release and good bolt buffer?
A little receiver inside polishing, these new parts and the hammer mod, it's a whole different acting gun!
If anyone is still on the fence about doing these mods, please try it, you will not look back!
