I was able to source this via an industry contact, and am looking forward to running it through its paces.

It is going on a 14.5" midlenedgth build that is hopefully getting finished this week time permitting.

Seems the trend now are ported brakes with prongs to reduce a bit of flash.

I will follow up with a report later on.

I know there are a few floating around here somewhere.

Most of the fireballs are coming out of the side ports, so the flash hider grooves you will find won't do much.

Rainier Arms mini comp. They make one with a flash hider in front as well, but the consensus from people who used them is that the side ports make the flash hider portion ineffective.

I'm hooked on my surefire brake.
I've tried many brakes including the JP Rifles brake which I was using prior to the Shurefire and nothing shoots as flat as this.
I use IMR 8208 XBR. There is virtually no flash.

I find those twin port brakes to be downright ignorant. Was shooting one in a semi enclosed bay the other day and it rattled my head with each shot. Thats not nice.

Then I have something for you to try. ;)
 
The fireballs really highlight my grey(at 34) hair. I was at the new Red Deer Shooting Center, and a fellow came up to me and asked me if it was a 50 beo or something, because it just thundered indoors. I didn't shoot it as much as I normally do just because of how obnoxious it is indoors.
