Bought this today at a gunshop in Hamilton. Almost impossible to find a CZ .22 with a heavy barrel right now. Guess I lucked out.

Made it out to the range today to shoot 100 yards (not meters as the target says)
quite happy with the results! was a little windy so I had to time my shots and it did rain through part of my shooting up still went quite well. ammo is Eley Practice which i believe is a 40gr rn and it lists the velocity at 1034 on the side of the box.

these targets are printed at home. So i calipered each square at 0.6". didnt have a caliper at the range today.
I ran out of bullets so the last group is only 4 shot. But I went and bought a brick of this stuff right after. =D

If it's like every other 452/453/455 out there it'll be a shooter.

Congrats on the purchase, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I'm in love with my 455.

Bonus Tip: $18 for a Yodave trigger kit. Do it, do it, do it. My 455 is bump safe with a 1.75lb trigger pull! (rubber mallet, smacked the butt and side of the stock damn near as hard as I could and it wouldn't trip)

Edit: I may have spoken too quick about the trigger kit, i see it listed as for the 452 and 455... Maybe a certain forum member could confirm?

Yeah it has a forward set trigger. I've tried it with snap caps a few times. Feels pretty comparable to an Anschutz I shoot for pull weight. Hope to get some nice right groups because I wanna reach out a few hundred yards with it.

Thanks!

My 452 Sporter loves the old Lapua Super Club, of which I have a few bricks yet. [SK now]

Often have 5-shot groups at 50M that are under ½ inch.

Shooting at 100 yards and beyond requires a very calm day, or the wind will rattle your chain seriously. lol.

Enjoy your CZ, they are great rifles!

Regards, Dave.

Shot out to 240 yards today on a 12" steel plate. There was an 10-12mph wind coming from 11 o'clock. 27MOA up from 100 yard zero and favour left on the target. 100% hits

Anyone try this Winchester .22LR M-22 High Velocity Ammo with a 452/453/455?
or better to just stick with CCI mini mags?
