Hi,
Recently a couple of friends and I decided to start hunting together and in doing so, completing all the course and obtaining all the licences we found that the history of firearms and technical aspects of them were just as interesting as our original idea to get out on the land and learning about hunting and the land. I grew up in the country side in southern Quebec on a 6 generation long small farm so I've got a few hundred acres and always had a couple rifles and a shotgun in the house growing up. Since we have recently gotten a little more involved and done a lot more research I've found I have a passion for rifles with some history to them and acquired a few old winchesters, a model 1892 and 1894 and a 101. I find them beautiful pieces and love the challenge of trying to group s few shots with an antique rifle as much as trying to zero the scope on my 7mm Remington Mag hunting rifle. It's something I never thought I'd find so interesting but now that I have I'm find I'm reading about it daily. Anyway, All that being said I've heard great things about this site and would love to be a part of it and get some opinions and expertise from others who have been at it a lot longer than I have. Many thanks,
Will
